It’s a banner week for the woke. AOC attends a $30,000/plate dinner with a dress with the words written in rich red, “Tax the Rich”. Our local Pittsburgh City Council Crazy Person, Bethany Hallam proposes we fine people $100 for not wearing a mask and then promptly posts a picture of herself maskless around 10’s of thousands of people.
Why do people ask why I am angry?
I always reply, “why aren’t you?”
There are very few things in life that infuriate me worse than a phony. Hypocrisy seems far too delicate of a word to describe these self-absorbed, virtue-signaling, rules for me but not for thee, spoiled, entitled, morons. They don’t even seem to try to hide it now. Hallam had to be doggone near cattle-prodded to give any form of an apology after first trying to justify how what was not okay for her constituents was fine for her. After I am sure a handler informed her of the optics, she conceded to a pathetic, “I will try to be a better role model.” Yeah, don’t. You aren’t. You encouraged rioting and then tried to fine people for doing what you won’t do. Your role model career is over.
I sometimes wonder how they ascended to the positions they are in. I suppose we get what we vote for and this is our karma? Or, perhaps the people with true humility, work ethic and morals don’t want to throw themselves into the political arena because it seems so infested with hypocritical schmucks and phony loud mouthes that no sane person feels they can win or survive in that blackhole of idiocy.
Something needs to be done. And, we always talk about the “fight”. It can sometimes sound scarily literal. We also think we can create change with our ballots. But, when the people on the tickets from City Council, to Mayor, to a New York State Senator are pandering, fake, woke lunatics … who do we even promote to create the change.
I’m imploring good people to start running for any campaign they can. These hacks have become so insulated in their own worlds that they have completely lost sight of the true populous. This isn’t a left/right thing, anymore. Quite frankly, it hasn’t been for a long time.
If attending a gala in a dress that you would NEVER be at if you hadn’t entered the elite class of the mega rich and mega connected politicians doesn’t tell you these people have jumped the shark, I don’t know what will.
The only change coming is the one we truly create. One based on realness, honesty, integrity and common sense. But, we can’t remove to just replace with the next lunatic. Real men and women need to step up and throw their hats in the ring. And, write on that hat in vivid red: “Axe the Hypocrites”.
